FIFA has at this time lifted the suspension that was imposed on the Guatemalan Soccer Affiliation (FEDEFUT).

The choice follows a letter despatched to FIFA on 30 Might 2018 by the Chairman of the FEDEFUT Normalisation Committee, Juan Carlos Ríos, by which he confirms that the mentioned committee, which was appointed by the Bureau of the Council on 18 Might 2018, is absolutely operational.

  • Pedro Chaluja, President of the Panamanian Soccer Affiliation (FEPAFUT) and FIFA Council member

  • Decio de María, President of the Mexican Soccer Affiliation​

If any of the selections taken by the Bureau of the Council are contravened, FEDEFUT can be routinely suspended as soon as once more.

In accordance with artwork. 38 par. three of the FIFA Statutes, the choice of the Bureau of the Council of 18 Might 2018 shall be ratified by the Council at its subsequent assembly.
