for England this would be a sacrifice . England has the stadiums , Population , public transport , road system, amazing cities and the Football powerhouse status .
    my pic for the host stadiums are Wembley 90,000 , Twickers 82,000 , Old Trafford 75,000 , Etihad 60,000 , Arsenal , 60,000 , Tottenham 60,000 , Liverpool 58,000 , Newcastle 55,000 , Sunderland 55,000 ,
    Leeds 45,000, Villa park 43,000 , Derby 32,000

My list of the 16 stadiums that could be used in a proposed United Kingdom and Ireland bid. This list takes into account FIFA rules and Geographical considerations. For the 2026 World Cup the allocation of stadiums is: USA (10), Mexico (3) and Canada (3). I assume England would demand the majority of stadiums. The last 6 would be divided between Scotland, Wales and the island of Ireland. In my above comment I did say that the Uruguay-Argentina-Paraguay bid would likely win but the more I think about it, would they really give the World Cup to South America directly after awarding it to North America.

*= Stadium is below the required 40000 and needs to be expanded.

    England (10)
    1) Wembley (London)
    2) London Stadium
    3) Old Trafford (Manchester)
    4) Etihad Stadium (Manchester)
    5) Anfield (Liverpool)
    6) St James Park (Newcastle)
    7) Villa Park (Birmingham)
    8.) Hillsborough (Sheffield)*
    9) Elland Road (Leeds)*
    10) King Power Stadium (Leicester)*
    Scotland (2)
    11) Hampden Park (Glasgow)
    12) Murrayfield (Edinburgh)
    Wales (2)
    13) Millennium Stadium (Cardiff)
    14) Liberty Stadium (Swansea)*
    Northern Ireland (1)
    15) Windsor Park (Belfast)*
    Republic of Ireland (1)
    16) Croke Park (Dublin)

You better not name in world cup 2030 British isles or some shit

  4. PJ McGuire says:

No way will FIFA allow 5 host associations to automatically qualify. The rest of UEFA will hardly back that. The Uruguay-Argentina-Paraguay bid likely win anyway since it'll be 100 years since the 1st World Cup and Uruguay were the hosts and winners will!
